Design & Statistical Measurement II April 9th <ppt> <pdf> April 2nd <ppt> <pdf> February 5th <ppt> <pptx> <pdf> January 29nd <ppt> <pdf> <Analysis Grid> January 22nd <ppt> <pdf> <participant pool log in> <participant pool info> This page will be updated weekly with the lecture notes. I offer these lecture notes for free because many students benefit from having them to write notes on during class and/or to review later. Many students print the notes out and have them in class so they can focus on the content of the lectures and not have to write down everything down during the lectures. Also, some students find them helpful for reviewing for the mid-term and final or when doing homework. However, some students find that they're not helpful at all. Feel free to use them in a way that is most helpful to you. If you ever share these notes or use them in another context than this class, you need to cite "S. Camille Peres" as the source of the content and "Spring 2009" as the date. For those who want to print the lecture notes out before class, I recommend you use the pdf file as there are 3 slides per page instead of just one. If you want to download the PowerPoint document and make notes in the "Notes" section of each slide, you should right click on the .ppt link, save the file to your desktop, open PowerPoint, and then open the file within PowerPoint. Then you will be able to edit the document and save it. Now the disclaimer: I try to get the notes up 24 hours before the lecture, but that is not always possible. Thus, it is not advisable to make plans around that happening. The notes will almost always be posted by class time, though. Home | Syllabus | Outline and Calendar | Notes
