Current Research

SRCD 2005 Poster

I have two ongoing research projects.

1) Gender and Racial Stereotyping in Television Commercials.  This is a collaboration with Dr. Robert Bartsch and Dr. Jo Meier.  This research projects does not currently involve student participation.

2) Children's use of gender and race as social categories. This study will use dolls to examine factors that influence children's use of gender and race as social categories.  This project is currently being designed by myself and several students.  This research group meets Tuesday from 9-10.
